Their Wrong Signal
A song I wrote about the leak of war plans on the Signal App by "A Confederacy Of Dunces"
If I couldn’t laugh I’d cry. Here are the lyrics to the song I created about the ludicrous leak of United States’ war plans to The Atlantic magazine in a text chain in which the following people charged with our nation’s security were included, along with the “accidental” leak to the Editor of The Atlantic magazine: Pete Hegseth, Defense Secretary; J.D. Vance, Vice President; Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State; John Ratcliffe, CIA Director; Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence; Scott Bessent, Treasury Secretary; Susie Wiles, White House Chief of Staff; Mike Waltz, National security advisor; Alex Wong, Deputy national security advisor; Jeffrey Goldberg, Editor-in-chief of "The Atlantic"; There were also more than a dozen other officials involved, but their names are not readily available.
Lyrics:
We don’t want to send the wrong signal You know us much better than that We don’t want to send the wrong signal We keep war plans under our hats Too bad about that guy from the Atlantic Like Pete said he’s an unreliable hack Pete knows how to spin a disaster That’s why the Donald has Pete’s back We don’t want to send the wrong signal That’s why we steer clear of the Press We don’t want to send the wrong signal We keep war plans close to our vests Too bad about that guy from the Atlantic Like Pete said he’s an unreliable hack Pete knows how to spin a disaster That’s why the Führer has Pete’s back!
As I said, if I couldn’t laugh I’d cry.
